It was another fairly slow week off the back of US Thanksgiving, and likely to continue into the new year as the holiday season hits. Much needed considering all we have been through this year.
On the ECM front, there was a fair bit of activity with the closing of Dye & Durham’s mega- $200M financing, as well as Score Media & Gaming’s bought deal financing. Given SCR’s price action over the past week, it comes as no surprise they tapped the markets as fast as possible for a clean $40M.
Several psychedelic companies tapped the market this week as we begin to see a slow rise in number of psychedelic issuances...looks like Canadians are getting a bit bored and I can’t blame them...it’s been a while since I’ve been burned on a promote as well.
Some names to keep an eye on over the next couple of weeks as small-cap issuances gain a bit of steam:
MindBeacon
EGLX
SCR
BRAGG
In more relevant news, Adam Skelly of the infamous rebel group Adamson BBQ has been arrested. If you haven’t seen it already, you can catch a montage posted here. After surveying the street for just over a week, I’ve heard mixed reviews of the famous Texas-style BBQ joint. Some say overpriced, some say to die for. With mixed reviews, I will not be dying for it…had it been unanimous, quite possibly.
